Yep, having fun with the title. But seriously, how many times have you needed to send or receive passwords, account logins, even credit card information and email was the best answer even though you knew you shouldn’t use it? You struggled to find a solution that’s easy for both you and your clients to use and there wasn’t one. PGP? Have you tried walking a client through setting that up? It’s just not gonna happen. NoteShred is what you want to use.
Kimba takes a solid look at where Twitter fits in these days in the social universe.

Repurposing content is the name of the game! Haven’t added to your blog in a while? That is okay! Use one of your older blog posts and post it to Twitter. Twitter is so fast-moving that unless someone is following your blog they most likely haven’t read all your writing, so share again!
Another great tool is to “pin” your most relevant post to the top of your Twitter profile. Change it with each new blog post to keep it at the top of your Twitter stream.
Click To Tweet is a great tool that gives you a URL to insert into your blog post that will auto populate a Tweet that your audience can tweet. Pricing is Free for 5 URLs, $4.95 a month for unlimited and $49.70 a year for unlimited. Very handy tool.
NoteShred
For a few decades now, Phil Zimmermann’s Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) has been the go-to tool if you wanted to securely send information via email. The big downside is that it’s far from user-friendly even for the very technically-minded among us. Thankfully, there’s another option that managed to overcome that hurdle. It’s NoteShred.
NoteShred has all the key features you’ll need: encrypted, password-protected notes, read receipts, shredding after a time you select. It also has the added benefit that you can start the process for your client (the information request): Send them a request and what it is you need. They click on the link, fill in the note, and hit send. Boom, you have the info to get your project moving.
Web-based, not an app anyone needs to download
Mobile friendly so you and your clients can communicate anywhere
Chrome browser extension to make the process even easier
Secure storage using Amazon S3
